Some of you may think of samples being the tiny packets of shampoo or lotion sometimes found in magazines, but I promise that Birchbox exceeds these by far. Some of the products are almost full size and one or two of the the products alone are worth the $10.
Every box is custom to you. When you first sign up they have you fill out a short survey describing your skin type, sensitivities, and beauty preferences. Birchbox won't ever send a fair skinned girl like me a toffee colored foundation. They also listen to the feedback you give about each month's products and use your opinions to choose products for your future boxes. Another perk of providing feedback is that you get 10 Birchbox points every time you provide your opinion on a monthly product. You can use these points to purchase full size products in their online shop or to pay for your monthly box.
The boxes ship on the 10th of every month, and as soon as the tracking info goes live I check every chance I get to see where my box is. It's so awesome to get my mail and have that bright fuschia box waiting.
Sorry that I'm gushing, but I'm just so pumped to have found this great company. Three months in and I never want it to end. Their customer service is awesome too. The one time I had a question I received an email reply in less than an hour. They're always looking for ways to improve and move forward. I LOVE this company!!
